Care Team Member
The care team at Awaken Las Vegas church is a group of volunteers dedicated to supporting members of the congregation who are going through difficult times. They typically provide practical assistance, emotional support, and spiritual encouragement to those facing illness, bereavement, or other challenging life circumstances.
One of the best ways to meet people, develop relationships, and grow as a follower of Christ is to serve at church. God wants to use you to make a difference. All of our Awaken volunteers use our app to manage their schedules and communicate with their leaders, so, please download the app too.

Awaken Kids
Have a heart for children? Come and be a blessing for our children!
Nursery/classroom teacher
A teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children during church services or events. They facilitate age-appropriate activities, for their spiritual development using established and approved curriculum.
Adaptive teacher
A teacher for adaptive is a specialized position for children who have special needs, this is a vital service to parents who need to be spiritually fed by providing a safe and loving atmosphere for their child. This position does require additional training.
Check-in
As a welcoming presence, this role assists parents with checking their children into the Awaken Kids Ministry programs using a computer check-in system.
Greeter
You will warmly welcome families and children to the church’s children’s ministry area, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. You will provide information, answer questions, and help direct families to the appropriate classrooms or check-in areas.
Set up/Teardown
Set up and tear down for Awaken Kids ministry involves preparing a safe, welcoming space with organized activity areas, then cleaning and storing everything afterward for a smooth transition.
Beyond Coffee
Looking for joyful, Spirit-filled, and Jesus-loving people to craft and serve specialty beverages.
Beyond Crew Member (Coffee Shop):
Join the Beyond Coffee team and contribute to a welcoming and enjoyable experience. As a Beyond Crew Member, you’ll engage with customers, take and prepare orders, and maintain a clean and inviting environment. Your friendly service helps create a positive atmosphere, making Beyond Coffee a delightful place for everyone.

Connect Team
Be a warm welcome to our visitors helping with questions, and providing assistance to all.
Host
Be ready to help with a smile, new visitors with a short tour, or help families find locations for Awaken Kids, Middle School and High School.
Greeter
Greet everyone who walks onto our property with a genuine smile and hello. You will occasionally pass out materials and you will serve before and after our gatherings.
Connect Desk
This position greets new visitors with a welcome packet and information about Awaken and the many opportunities they have to connect with us. You will also be helping with questions people have about events, and other things happening at the church. It is important to be a friendly communicator who loves our church and wants to see people connected.
Follow Up Leader
Those with the gifts of hospitality, who deeply care about connecting new believers to the church.
Follow Up Team:
You will be the first person to connect with those who choose to follow Jesus during our gatherings with a welcoming and loving conversation that leads them to connecting with Awaken Las Vegas through our Discipleship Journey.

As as Usher, you’ll be on the front lines of our mission to WORSHIP God, GROW as disciples, and REACH Las Vegas with the gospel. This vital role allows you to exercise your spiritual gifts, grow in your faith, and serve your church family with excellence and joy.
As an usher, you’ll create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that helps set the stage for life-changing encounters with God. It’s more than just greeting – it’s about being the hands and feet of Jesus, making connections, and helping people feel at home in our church community.

Camera Operator
This is the role where everyone begins. Operating a broadcast camera to improve online viewers experience, helping them feel like they are a part of the service. From there you will be trained for other positions like pro-presenter, director, lighting and sound.
Security
We are looking for servants hearts who care about protecting others.
Security Ministry Team Member
Monitor the premise and remain vigilant for any potential safety concerns or disruptive behavior, and ensures a secure environment that allows congregants to worship without worry.
Translation Team
Be a warm welcome to our visitors helping with questions, and providing assistance to all.
Translation Volunteer
The Translation Team is dedicated to creating a seamless communication experience for all, enabling every individual to engage with our services and activities at Awaken Las Vegas without language barriers.
Purpose of the team: To provide high-quality translation ensuring that all members, regardless of their native language, can access information, support events, and be encouraged to take their next steps to grow as disciples at Awaken Las Vegas.
Ideal Candidate: We are looking for volunteers who are not only proficient in different languages but also have a heart for ministry and a strong commitment to the Lord. The right candidates are those who can effectively facilitate cross-cultural communication and have a passion for helping others deepen their understanding of Christ’s teachings.

Do you connect easily with young people and have a heart to see them live for Jesus?
Youth Leader
We are looking for people who are mature in their walk with Jesus and deeply care about shepherding the now generation to walk closely with Jesus. There are many roles to fill during our ministry gatherings including things like leading a small group, set up and tear down, greeting and check in, as well as teaching and leading in worship!
