A Note from Pastor Derek:
I was talking with a friend the other day who was expressing the desperate need he has for worshiping with God’s people again. Over the last 6 months he said he has learned a new gratitude for gathering corporately and understands, to a greater extent, the importance of community in the church. He also emphasized that this was the general feeling among his friends and that the need for the church to be the church is greater now than at any other time he can remember.
Hopelessness, confusion, discouragement, depression, suicidal temptations are all on the rise and the solution is only found through what the church brings, the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is precisely the reason we are expanding and rebuilding our in-person services.
While many understandably need to continue online because they are in an at-risk category, it is important for God’s people to gather again and be the light God intended us to be in our community. I want to encourage you to begin to make your way back to worshiping with us in person at our Nights of Hope
and on Sunday mornings.
While these times are challenging, they are also exciting, and I believe with all my heart that God has a great work He plans to do in the midst of them! Hoping to see you soon!
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21
