Awaken Church Community

We are building a community of unified churches to work together to make disciples of Jesus from all peoples through a global church planting movement. We believe we are better together than on our own. Awaken Church Community is committed to forming relationships that encourage each other through mission, community, support, training, and other resources.

Since launching in 2023 we have been joined by other churches in Las Vegas, New Hampshire, Phoenix, Mexico, Chile, Nicaragua, Columbia, Brazil, and Japan.

We had our first Gathering in August of 2024 for all Awaken Church Community pastors right here in Las Vegas and also sent support trips to a variety of churches that helped train and equip them throughout the year. We also held our annual Church Planting Collective in La Gloria (Tijuana, Mexico) at our Training Center. This was our last CPC in La Gloria, as it will be moved to Mexico City in 2025. And we are currently working with Pastor Fernando as he plants Awaken Oasis in North Las Vegas.

What to expect

The first part of the CPC is called “Learn” which is a 12-week series of classes once-a-week geared towards those who are seeking God’s will for their life. Prospective church planting team members can then apply for the “Experience” which is a 7-month internship, which gives a first-hand opportunity to be a part of church planting. “Launch” is for the person ready to be sent out as a church planter. This program is also utilized in all of the areas we are working in world-wide.
