Women’s Ministry

New Lifeway Bible study called, The Shepherd with Me will guide us through Psalm 23 and show us how Jesus is our constant companion guiding us through life.

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.”
-Isaiah 40:8-

“When Moses wanted to know the name of the person who was sending him, that he may tell the children of Israel, he is told to say, “I Am has sent me to you” (Ex. 3:14). When we have the “I Am as our Commissioner, we have all He is, all He has, and all He can do at our back. It seems as if the Lord said, “Whatever you need, the great I Am, will supply it.” -F.E. Marsh

Are you hungry? Jesus says, “I am the Bread of Life.” Do you need an open way to God? He says, “I Am the way.” Do you want an entrance into blessing? He says, “I Am the Door.” Do you need life? Jesus says, “I Am the Life.” Do you need truth? Jesus says, “I Am the Truth.” Do you need a substitute? Jesus says, “I Am the Good Shepherd, who gives His life for the Sheep.”

“Every woman longs for someone to protect and care for her– someone to guide her when she’s not sure of her next steps, to provide rest when she’s worn out, to walk with her when the valley is dark. Jesus is the Good Shepherd whose companionship provides the comfort and confidence every woman needs. No matter what season a woman finds herself in, she is safe with her Shepherd.” -Jennifer Rothschild “Psalm 23”

As we begin this new year, my prayer is that this year, above any other, you may know God, the great I Am, the One who goes before you and the One who is able to fulfill every single need that you have.
